About

Diversity Connections Australia Inc. is a not-for-profit association that is dedicated to promoting multiculturalism and Australian values within the Chinese communities in Australia. The organization aims to support Chinese migrants in their integration and participation in mainstream society, while also telling the world stories of Australia through the experiences of Chinese migrants.

One of the key objectives of the association is to conduct research and study on the experiences of Chinese migrants who have made Australia their home, both past and present. Through this research, Diversity Connections Australia hopes to present the stories of Chinese migrants through various multimedia platforms. By sharing these stories, the association aims to increase awareness and understanding of the experiences of Chinese migrants, and to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that they bring to Australia.

In addition to promoting multiculturalism and Australian values, Diversity Connections Australia also strives to promote civic engagement among Chinese migrants. One way in which the association does this is by assisting with participation in elections by introducing candidates for informed voting decisions. By encouraging Chinese migrants to become involved in the democratic process, Diversity Connections Australia hopes to strengthen the voices of Chinese communities in Australia.

Ultimately, Diversity Connections Australia is committed to promoting a harmonious and inclusive society in which all people, regardless of their background, can feel valued and respected. Through its work, the association aims to promote greater understanding and appreciation of the contributions that Chinese migrants have made and continue to make to Australia, while also supporting the integration and participation of Chinese communities in mainstream society.
